Infrastructure Journal Consultants' league table

July, 2010

Global construction consultant, Davis Langdon, achieves its highest ever ranking in the Infrastructure Journal Consultants' league table.

For the first time ever, Davis Langdon has achieved a top 25 place in the Infrastructure Journal (IJ) Consultants' league tables. Jumping 11 places to 23rd overall globally

The Infrastructure Journal league tables are published twice a year, aiming to measure market activity and rank firms involved in project finance and infrastructure through financially closed transactions in the sector from, in this case, the first six months of 2010.

The league tables rank firms active in Aviation, Transport, Energy, Waste and the PPP market. Last year Davis Langdon was placed 32nd and this  it has seen its rank move up to 23rd overall globally, 8th within Social Infrastructure, 17th in Western Europe, and 7th within the UK in the Consultants / Technical Advisors category.

To lend weight to this result, IJ also published the IJ100 earlier this month - a list of the top 100 Infrastructure projects from around the world, ranked on scale, feasibility, complexity, innovation and impact on society. A survey from across Davis Langdon & Seah International has revealed that Davis Langdon is working on at least thirteen out the top 100 selected projects.  A full list of these projects, as well as the projects we are involved with can be found by using the download link on the left.

Victoria Jackson of Davis Langdon commented, “This is a fantastic result for the Infrastructure and PPP teams across Davis Langdon & Seah International and a really good way to demonstrate how our footprint and market share in the sector has developed, in the UK particularly, where we have not traditionally been perceived as a key player”.
