The Central Phoenix/East Valley Light Rail project is an ambitious light rail project designed to link Phoenix, Mesa, and Tempe.
The project includes 27 stations along nearly twenty miles of track, and encompasses utility relocations, civil works, structures, guideway, track, signal, communications, traction power, overhead catenary, life safety work and system, and real estate and easement acquisitions to support the installation of the new light rail system, as well as design and procurement of the new rail cars, and construction of a new maintenance facility to support the light rail project.
